ImPRESS Voxbox Review

Hello,

I know I have been MIA for a long time (again) however with a car accident and being a single mom, life has been busy.  Today I am here to share with you the next VoxBox from Influenster that I qualified for which was the imPress VoxBox. I received these products complimentary for testing purposes and to review.  I am always excited to try new products and to be able to give you all my honest opinion. (One of these days I'll get past my shyness and start doing YouTube videos) I rely on others opinions/reviews on products before I buys them, especially large ticket items.  Anyhow let's get into the products.

The products is ImPress press-on manicure by Broadway Nails.  I received two style of nails, they were 130 Control Freak which were the ones I used, and D030 Holla!. You can find these places like Walmart, Target, London Drugs, Loblaws, etc.  The colours are available for $8.99 and patterns for $10.99
Here is a picture of what I received: #imPRESSmanicure

Now to be completely honest these are the first press-on nails that I tried as I never wanted to mess around with glue and I was able to grow my nails long after I got over being a nail biter.  I am also fortunate to have strong nails.  I have found pros and cons when using the press-on nails and for my lifestyle certainly not something that I'll be finding myself purchasing, however for others it may be worth trying.  As I had stated before I'm a single mom and frequently help a friend out with her kids so that leaves me looking after a 8 month old baby and two 4.5 year olds.  So I found it hard to open up containers with foil tops like Apple sauces or the new plastic baby food containers and changing diapers.  Now that you have a better idea how my day is I'll give you the pros and cons I found when using/wearing nails.

Pros
- there is no glue to mess around with as there is already adhesive on the nails.
- the nails are thin so they comfortably go onto your real nails and they do look realistic.
- there is no drying time as you would for ones with glue or using real nail polish which I always find myself messing up my nails if I try to do my nails when my child is home.
- the patterned nails as very cute and not something you could easily do with on your own.
- easy to use as you just pull off the plastic back that my 4 y could do, then press them on.

Cons:
- nails were almost to thin to be able to open containers/diaper sides easily.  Did feel the nail pull and it hurt a bit. (Due to the strong adhesive)
- found it challenging to find a good size fit for my ring finger.
- nails were shorter so were the same size as my real nails which would be great for someone who can grow nails as they wouldn't be too long and look natural.
- lost a nail after a few hrs on my dominant hand due to my lifestyle.
- thumb nail chipped after a few hrs, not sure from what.

For me I feel these nails certainly do not fit my lifestyle other than not having drying time, however I think if you were going out for the night and don't have a lot if time to paint your nails these would be a good option as they are quick and wasy to put on, much faster than waiting for nail polish to dry.

I hope this review helps if your thinking about getting them.  I think they'd be much better for someone with older kids or no kids. I'll insert some pictures if me wearing the nails.

Starting to put them on after fitting them to my nails.
Here they are all on so you can see how natural they look.

Here's a picture after losing one, yes I could of just fitted a new one as there are lots of extra nails, however I was frustrated with them so I just took them off and saving the pattern ones for a night out.
I'd like to thank you Influenster and Broadway Nails for the opportunity to try these nails.
